Born in Vancouver, Don Levers is the author of the bestselling children's book Ogopogo: the Misunderstood Lake Monster. In 2017, Don was recognized as an up-and-coming author by the Vancouver Public Library for his heist-inspired novel Loot for the Taking. His passion for storytelling and history also led to Our Fathers' Footsteps (Stories of WWII Veterans' What If Moments), created after a pilgrimage to Normandy. His latest book, The (Almost) Perfect Heist, returns to the world of true crime — chronicling the 1977 Vancouver Safety Deposit Vaults robbery that nearly got away. Today, Don and his wife make their home outside Edmonton.
